Car key battery wasn’t working properly, so called in and got a gentleman named Paul to fit a new battery. He then insisted on coming out to the car to check it worked properly. When he found it wasn’t, he went to find a technician. The technician couldn’t get it to,work either and it seemed as if the entire sensor would have to be replaced - costing more than the car at 19 years old is worth- when another technician passed through the forecourt as he was returning from lunch. Paul promptly called him to help and with just a couple of minutes, this second technician had the problem licked. The key works perfectly now. And allfor a cost of £8 (the price of the battery!)
